Two deaths, 41 fresh COVID-19 cases in Telangana on Wednesday

Out of 41 fresh cases, 31 are from Greater Hyderab Municipal Corporation (GHMC), while 10 ors are people who returned to state, a COVID-19 bulletin issued by state government on Wednesday night said. State Health Minister E Rajender quoted Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao as having directed that more precautions should be taken as people were arriving in state after Centre permitted relaxations in lockdownmeasures. Rajender said initially virus spre in state was from foreign returnees followed by those who attended Tablighi Jamaat event in Delhi.

He said people arriving by trains or motor vehicles were being tested and sent home for self-quarantine after being stamped.
In vills, Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA) are identifying those who arrived in recent days and monitoring ir health during home quarantine, it said. According to release, 798 people have returned to state in flights, while 239 and 41,805 have come to state in trains and by ro respectively till date since lockdown.

Rajender appealed to people to be more alert as more number of people are coming out in view of relaxations anunced recently. According to bulletin, number of people who succumbed to virus rose to 34 following two deaths.
