Two Women of Drama Troupe Die in Road Accident in Kerala''s Kannur

Kannur: Two women of a 14-member drama troupe died in a ro accident when mini bus y were travelling in overturned in wee hours of Friday in north Kerala district of Kannur.

According to police, accident occurred around 4 am when troupe was on its way to Wayan after a performance on Thursday night. Kayamkulam-based atre group h anor performance in Wayan.

Nine ors in mini bus were injured in accident with one of m in a critical condition, police said. One of locals who helped in rescue efforts told a TV channel that group was using Google maps and it showed a route which was small for a mini bus.

"At one of hairpins, bus could not climb it and went backwards and n toppled over," he claimed.
