"I exposed (in House) how state government is t making clarification on CAA, NRC and NPR to ensure re is peace". " board of programme (in which Khalid gave speech) h photographs of two state ministers. What he (Khalid) said in his speech, happened in Delhi. But state government is t even acting against him," Fnavis alleged.
Fnavis did t name two ministers but said he would give evidence on this to CM Uddhav Thackeray. Speaking to reporters outside state legislature building here, he said Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) does t snatch away citizenship of any Indian. He said document is sought from citizens under National Population Register (NPR), which he ded, was brought by Congress-led UPA in 2010.
"twithstanding this situation, protests are being std to deliberately cause anarchy and funding is done for protests through Popular Front of India. Since fund is used to spre anarchy, it has to be categorised as terror-funding. court will decide on it," he said.
" ED (Enforcement Directorate) has brought out evidences of such funding. state government has been a mute spectator to all this for sake of votes," Fnavis said.
He said some protests may have been spontaneous, but t all. Fnavis demanded Uddhav Thackeray government clarify that CAA was t against any Indian citizen.
