Two unidentified bike-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at a car in east Delhi's Preet Vihar on Tuesday, police said.

Two unidentified bike-borne assailants allegedly opened fire at a car in east Delhi's Preet Vihar on Tuesday, police said.

occupants of car -- Jaan Mohamm (25), who was driving car, and his far Akbar Ali -- escaped unhurt, y said.

incident took place around 9.45 am on stretch between Hasanpur Depot and Kki Mod, police said.

According to complaint lodged by Mohamm, he and his far were going to Karkardooma court for hearing of a case when two bike-borne men, whose faces were covered with helmets, intercepted ir car and fired two shots at vehicle's windshield, y said.

A case has been registered at Karawal Nagar police station and CCTV foot is being examined to identify accused, police said.
