As 'Unlock 1' of COVID-19 lockdown begins, Indore MP Shankar Lalwani on Sunday sanitized a temple using n-alcohol based sanitisers in Rajwa area, amid certain opposition to alcohol being used in any form for this purpose. Speaking to media, MP said that y have used n-alcoholic sanitiser in order to maintain sanctity of temple.
" public is expected to come here. Hence, we are sanitizing this. We will furr sanitize or temples and or public places," he ded. Meanwhile, several temples and or religious places are t allowed to be opened in Indore due to increasing number of COVID-19 cases in district. On Sunday, 36 people were tested positive for virus, while one person dies. Currently, re are a total of 3,785 cases in city, while death toll has increased to 157.

While Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) said that religious places and places of worship for public will be permitted to open from June 8, facilities will t be able to resume operations inside containment zones designated by authorities in states. Meanwhile, several or religious places around country are set to be re-opened with ir own security measures.

'Unlock 1'
Centre h anunced that nationwide coronavirus lockdown in containment zones has been extended till June 30, 2020. It h also anunced that re-opening of areas outside containment zones will be done in three phases.
In phase one, religious places and all places of worship for public, Hotels, restaurants, and hospitality services and all shopping malls will be permitted to re-open from June 8 onwards. Ministry of Health shall also issue an SOP for resumption of operations.

In phase two, schools, colleges, educational/training/coaching institutions will be opened after consultation with respective States and Union Territories. decision on re-opening of se institutions will be taken in month of July based on feedback of parents and or stakeholders.

Meanwhile, third phase shall determine opening of certain activities that will continue to remain prohibited until stated orwise including international travel, operation of metro rail, cinema halls, gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment parks, atres, bars and auditoriums, assembly halls, or cultural/social/political functions, and large congregations.
