UP BJP MLA gets stranded while returning from flood-inspection

BJP MLA from Mirzapur, Ratnakar Mishra got stuck in the floods when he went to asses the situation on the ground. He got stuck as the boat ran out of oil

BJP MLA from Mirzapur, Ratnakar Mishra got stuck in floods when he went to assess situation on ground. Mishra was visiting  Babura vill in Chanbha block to monitor situation and check relief measures for villrs who were stranded. However, he himself got stranded in a motor-boat in middle of river owing to lack of fuel in vessel.

villrs were stranded in Ganga flowing above danger point, and Mishra had gone to assess situation, but boat he was traveling in ran out of oil and he was stuck along with Tehsildar Om Prakash Pandey. y were rescued later when y called over for help via ir mobile phone. Two hundred and eighty five vills have been affected because of Ganga overflowing. Mishra was returning after inspection when he his boat got stranded.  driver was left helpless and y received help when Tehsildar Pandey rung District Panchayat Officer and asked for rescue motorboat. Mishra blamed panchayat and said that it was a conspiracy. He said, "I had planned to tour many places and it was already fixed. n why was motorboat t filled with eugh petrol? I have t been able to visit or places. When this can happen to me, what will y do with common people? I see a conspiracy in it and will complain to DM".

Water levels of river Ganga increased

Tehsildar said, "I was only asked to accompany hourable MLA. If I was told (about lack of fuel) earlier, I would have made appropriate arrangements". 

A lot of regions in area have been flooded and people have been stranded for a long time because of heavy rainfall which has led to flooding, and an increase in levels of river Ganga. This has put a lot of vills and small towns along banks of river under risk. Many houses have already submerged and residents in region are blaming officials for lack of rescue efforts and paucity in facilities.
