UP Shocker: Mother Hires Hitman to Kill Daughter, Plan Backfires

Etah (UP): A chilling twist in a murder case in Uttar Pradesh's Etah has left police officials baffled. A 42-year-old woman, Alka, was found strangled in a millet field on October 6, 2024. Her husband, Ramakant, had reported her missing after she failed to return home.

Mother Hires Hitman to Kill Daughter

Initial investigations pointed to Alka's concern about her daughter's relationship with another man. Believing the daughter was a negative influence, Alka sought the help of a recently released convict, Subhash, to eliminate her. She offered him a sum of Rs 50,000 to execute the plan.

However, a shocking revelation has emerged now that Subhash was already involved with Alka's daughter. The two had been communicating secretly, and when Subhash learnt of Alka's plan, he informed the daughter. The daughter proposed marriage to Subhash and agreed to help him carry out the murder plan of her own mother.

Etah Murder Mystery

Together, they built the plot to execute Alka. Subhash sent Alka staged photos of her daughter's supposed murder, demanding the agreed-upon payment. After meeting with Alka Subhash revealed the truth about her daughter being alive. The daughter and Subhash then took Alka to a secluded location in Etah and strangled her before disposing of her body.

"The investigation revealed that Alka was furious with her daughter for her misconduct and elopement, leading her to plot her daughter's murder through a hired killer. The hired killer, unknown to Alka, was another lover of her daughter. Together, they strangled Alka to death and disposed of her body in a millet field," Station House Officer (SHO) of the Jasrathpur police station Om Prakash Singh said.

About eight months ago, Alka's daughter eloped with her lover Akhilesh, following which the mother filed a police complaint, resulting in his imprisonment. Akhilesh was released from jail two months ago, after which Alka sent her daughter to her maternal home in Farrukhabad, as per police.

There, the daughter entered in relationship with Subhash, who was released from jail after serving a 10-year sentence for rape, police said.

Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested the daughter and her boyfriend Subhash who was the actual contract killer, who are both facing murder charges. The case has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting the dark depths that relationships can reach.
