UP Man Kills Sister-In-Law, Infant Niece After Brother Refuses Rs 30,000

Ghaziab: A shocking double murder took place in Ghaziab, where a 23-year-old man strangled his sister-in-law and her three-month-old daughter at ir home. Police reported on Tuesday that accused, Zeeshan, has been arrested.  

A detailed investigation is underway but initial investigation revealed Zeeshan committed crime to settle old disputes. He was reportedly angry over a past incident where Shaheen Parveen cousin's bror h humiliated him during a fight about a house construction in Bihar. He also believed Shaheen influenced his bror, Burhan, to deny him ₹30,000, which he needed for a work visa to Dubai.  

victims were identified as 34-year-old Shaheen Parveen and her baby daughter Aafiya. Anor daughter, three-and-a-half-year-old Anbiya, managed to escape after witnessing murders.  

incident occurred on Monday in Bamheta village, under Wave City police station area. According to DCP Surendranath Tripathi, Zeeshan first strangled Shaheen using a *dupatta* in front of her two children. He n killed Aafiya with his hands. "Three-and-a-half-year-old Anbiya ran away, crying. Zeeshan would have killed her too h she stayed in room," DCP said.  

Explaining motive, Tripathi ded, "Two months ago, Shaheen’s cousin bror Afroz humiliated Zeeshan and pulled him by collar during a dispute. accused wanted revenge. Besides, he wanted ₹30,000 for a Dubai visa and believed Shaheen convinced his bror not to give him money."  

After committing murders, Zeeshan fled to Noida, where he snatched a woman’s mobile phone to call Burhan and issue a death threat.  

Police arrested Zeeshan on Tuesday while he was returning to Ghaziab. A detailed investigation is ongoing.
