Rahul Gandhi's relentless attack on PM Narendra Modi over the Rafale deal has been used by a Pakistani minister to attack the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). The Congress President had spoken against BJP and PM Modi over the deal, claiming that they had negotiated and changed it in favor of Anil Ambani's Reliance.
And his tirade on Twitter was picked up by Pakistan minister Fawad Hussain, who has used Rahul's couple of tweets as reference to attack the BJP government. The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting posted a message on the social media website, which read, "These tweets explain BJP led Tirade against Pakistan, Apni Jang Khud Lado #RafaelDeal"
The two tweets of Rahul, which Fawad Hussain had taken for reference, directly attack on PM Modi and BJP over the Rafale deal. The first message read, "The PM and Anil Ambani jointly carried out a One Hundred & Thirty Thousand Crore, SURGICAL STRIKE on the Indian Defence forces. Modi Ji you dishonoured the blood of our martyred soldiers. Shame on you. You betrayed India's soul. #Rafale"
"The PM personally negotiated & changed the #Rafale deal behind closed doors. Thanks to François Hollande, we now know he personally delivered a deal worth billions of dollars to a bankrupt Anil Ambani. The PM has betrayed India. He has dishonoured the blood of our soldiers," Rahul's second tweet which Fawad Hussain used as reference
The attack by the Pakistan minister, which comes after similar attacks by Pak PM, President, FM and many others, comes at a time when India decided to call of the meet between the two countries at the UNGA. Following the killing of three J&K policemen on Friday, who were abducted by terrorists a night before, the Indian government felt that any meet under present environment is 'meaningless'.
