Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath Visits His Ailing Mother at AIIMS Rishikesh

Rishikesh: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday paid a visit to his ailing mother, who is undergoing treatment at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Rishikesh. CM Yogi’s meeting with his mother, Savitri Devi, came up after almost two years, who is currently receiving treatment at the AIIMS in Rishikesh due to deteriorating health. She was shifted to AIIMS hospital a few days ago after she felt unwell, following which Chief Minister Yogi on Sunday personally visited the hospital to enquiry about her health.

CM Yogi, after reaching AIIMS, spent about half an hour with his mother, during which he enquired with her about her health. He even discussed with the hospital staff about the treatment she was receiving at the hospital. His 84-year-old mother has been facing multiple health challenges recently, leading to her second admission to the AIIMS within a month. Earlier, she was admitted to the hospital due to an eye infection and was discharged after two days of treatment on May 16.

The news agency ANI shared a heart-warming video of the UP chief minister sitting and talking to his mother, who looked very happy after meeting him. BJP MP Trivendra Singh Rawat and Yogi Adityanath's younger brother were also present with him during his visit to the hospital.

After meeting his mother, CM Yogi also went to meet the victims of the tragic bus accident, which took place in Uttarakhand’s Rudraprayag, claiming lives of at least 14 people and injuring 12 others. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, involved a bus full of pilgrims that fell into a gorge, resulting in mass fatalities and injuries.

Yogi Adityanath met the injured people who were admitted to the Trauma Center at AIIMS, ensuring they received proper care and support during their recovery.

On the other hand, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also paid a visit to AIIMS to check on CM Yogi’s mother Savitri Devi’s health improvement. He expressed his concern for her health and instructed the hospital administration to provide the best possible care.
