Vadodara: Crocodile rescued from village after three-day long operation
A 7-foot long crocodile was rescued from a village in Vadodara, Gujarat after it ventured into the fields from the wild. The crocodile was eating up cattle.

A 7-foot long crocodile was rescued from a vill in Vodara, Gujarat after it ventured into fields from wild. According to reports, forest officials were informed about crocodile by Muva vill officials after news about reptile spre. crocodile was reportedly eating up domestic cattle in vill following which sarpanch complained to forest officials.

As per reports, it took three days for forest officials to catch crocodile. forest officials laid down a trap for semiaquatic reptile and after two days of tracking, y finally got hold of it. One of officials while talking to press said that y handed crocodile over to Forest Department. Gujarat Forest Department will w rehabilitate crocodile.

A few weeks ago, forest officials in Odisha rescued a rare species of a turtle at Jambhira Dam. Trionychidae turtle was caught by fishermen who were fishing in area. It was later released back into dam after inspection by forest officials, according to media reports. turtle was rescued by locals and forest department in Mayurbhanj district on June 1.
