Video: Speeding Car Kills Woman in UP's Jhansi After Dragging her on Road

Jhansi: In a tragic accident in Jhansi’s Nawabad area, a speeding car hit and killed a woman as she was crossing the road. The incident happened near Max Care Hospital on Medical Road and was captured on a nearby CCTV camera.

The woman was struck so forcefully that she was thrown nearly 10 feet into the air and got caught on the car. Witnesses say the driver did not stop and dragged her along for some distance before speeding away from the scene. The woman died instantly due to the severe impact.

Local police quickly arrived at the scene, took the woman’s body into custody, and started their search for the driver and the car involved. CCTV footage is being reviewed to help identify the vehicle, and police are asking the public for any information that might help track down the driver.
