Hyderabad Man Chasing Dog Falls Off 3rd Floor of Hotel, Dies | Disturbing Video Emerges

Hyderabad: A birthday celebration in Hyderabad turned tragic after a 24-year-old youth fell off third floor of hotel while chasing a dog. The incident took place at VV Pride hotel in Chanda Nagar area in the city, in the early hours of Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Uday Kumar, a polytechnic student. The deceased was participating in a birthday celebration with his friends when the tragedy unfolded. According to sources in police, Uday had arrived in the city with his family and was staying in Ashok Nagar, Ramachandrapuram. He had booked a room at the hotel on Sunday to spend time with his friends. While Uday was at the corridor of third floor, he spotted a dog and, in an attempt to chase it, accidentally fell through a window.

The entire incident was captured in CCTV. 

The CCTV footage showed a dog roaming at third floor corridor of the hotel. After Uday spotted it, he chased it from one end to another and back. Since one section of the window was open, Uday slipped and couldn’t control his momentum and accidentally fell through the open window. The video further showed one of his friends looking out the window, before informing others and running downstairs to get help.

The tragic fall left Uday severely injured. Despite his friends' immediate efforts to rush him to hospital, doctors declared him dead on arrival.
