Viral Video: IAS Tina Dabi Raids Spa Centre In Barmer Over Sex Racket Suspicision, 7 Held

Barmer: IAS officer Tina Dabi, who is currently posted as District collector in Rajasthan 's Barmer conducted a raid on a spa center in the district after suspicions were raised that a prostitution racket was being run at the facility. 

Interestingly, Dabi was indulged in a cleanliness campaign when she realised that a spa center is being run in the near vicinity. The raid led to apprehending of five women and two men who were found in compromising situations.

Dabi arrived at the spa center just as the operator was locking the door and trying to flee. Sensing something was off, she instructed the Additional District Collector, Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), and UIT Secretary to force their way inside for an inspection.

Upon entering, authorities discovered five women and two men in separate rooms, leading to their immediate detention. The police were called, and everyone was taken to the station for questioning.

Local residents have long alleged that illegal activities have been occurring under the pretense of spa services in Barmer, with police collusion facilitating these operations. 

Community members have previously protested, calling for the closure of such establishments, claiming that these spas have been operating unchecked and engaging in immoral activities disguised as legitimate massage services.

Tina Dabi who has recently came in limelight for taking proactive steps to ensure smooth running of administration scolded shopkeepers during a cleanliness inspection in Rajasthan ’s Barmer. 

A video also went viral in this regard. 

Dabi, who recently took charge as the District Collector of Barmer, was conducting a sanitation assessment earlier this week as part of the city's cleanliness initiative.

During the inspection at Kisan Market, Dabi expressed her displeasure after noticing unsanitary conditions outside several shops. Furious at the sight of litter strewn across the market, she reprimanded the shopkeepers, warning them against improper disposal of waste.
