Viral Video Shows AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi Playing Cricket With Children In Streets Of Hyderabad

Hyderab: As polls for Lok Sabha elections in Telangana are underway on May 13, political figures are vying for public attention. One such act, performed on Sunday, by AIMIM supremo Asuddin Owaisi, went viral on social media. Political speeches and campaigning are prohibited 48 hours prior to voting due to Model Code of Conduct (MCC). 

On Sunday morning, University of Hyderab (UoH) students came out to play football with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy. Asuddin Owaisi, a sitting member of Lok Sabha from Hyderab and leer of All India Majlis-e-Ittehul Muslimeen (AIMIM), decided on spur of moment to play with local children in afternoon.

While traveling back to Shastripuram, president of AIMIM party happened to spot some kids playing cricket. Asuddin Owaisi exited vehicle and walked over to youngsters. After roughly ten minutes of cricket play, he departed from area. On all social media platforms, footage of a friendly Asuddin Owaisi enjoying some cricket has gone viral. Elections for fourth phase of Lok Sabha are being held in Telangana. In 17 Telangana parliamentary constituencies, almost a hundred candidates from political parties and independents are competing.
