Wagoora–Kreeri, Pattan, Sonawari, Bandipora, Gurez (ST) Election Result 2024 LIVE Updates: The 2024 Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections results were announced on Tuesday. In the Wagoora-Kreeri (General) Assembly constituency, 12 candidates were seeking to win the trust of the electorate, while the Pattan (General) constituency featured a slightly larger field with 13 contenders. The Sonawari (General) constituency stood out with 18 candidates in the race, followed closely by Bandipora (General), where 19 individuals were vying for the Assembly seat. In contrast, the Gurez (ST) Assembly constituency had a smaller pool of candidates, with five individuals competing.
Shopian, DH Pora, Kulgam, Devsar, Dooru Election Result Winners
- Shopian: Independent candidate Shabir Ahmad Kullay secures victory with 14,113 votes, defeating JKNC's Sheikh Mohammad Rafi.
- DH Pora: JKNC's Sakeena Masood wins decisively with 28,884 votes.
- Kulgam: CPM's Mohd. Yousuf Tarigami triumphs with 33,634 votes, defeating JAMAAT's Sayar Ahmad Reshi.
- Devsar: JKNC's Peerzada Feroze Ahmad edges out JKPDP's Mohammad Sartaj Madni by 840 votes.
- Dooru: INC's Gulam Ahmad Mir claims the win.
- Independent candidate Shabir Ahmad Kullay is currently leading in Shopian with 9,610 votes.
- In DH Pora, JKNC's Sakeena Masood holds the lead over JKPDP's Gulzar Ahmad Dar by 14,894 votes.
- In Kulgam, CPM's Mohd. Yousuf Tarigami is ahead of JAMAAT's Sayar Ahmad Reshi by 3,938 votes.
