much-awaited book merges parallel multi-linear narratives of first three books -- "Ram: Scion of Ikshvaku", "Sita: Warrior of Mithila", and "Raavan: Enemy of Aryavarta" -- into a single narrative.

"I am delighted to bring fourth book of Ram Chandra Series to reers. first three books of Ram Chandra Series were set in a multi-linear narrative which tracked stories of principal characters (Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, Raavan) from ir birth to a common ending in narrative viz kidnapping of Goddess Sita.
"So, all three books ended in same place where Raavan kidnaps princess of Mithila. fourth book, 'War of Lanka', will be a common narrative from kidnapping till death of Raavan," Amish said in a statement.

He ded that many clues and secrets left in first three books will be revealed in this book.
According to publishers, "War of Lanka" from Ram Chandra series -- which is touted to be second fastest-selling book series in Indian publishing history -- brings "pace, drama and emotions of his bestselling Ramachandra series to a fitting crescendo".
