Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath showcased his cricket skills at the 36th All India Advocate Cricket Tournament in Lucknow on Saturday. A video of him batting has surfaced online, where he's seen walking towards the pitch and trying his hands on batting.

During the event, CM Yogi mentioned sports are important for success in personal and public life.

He stated, "Sports inspire all of us to work with a team spirit... If we have the ability to work as a team, our chances of success increase significantly."

CM Yogi also highlighted the growth of sports activities in India over the past decade, crediting initiatives like 'Khelo India' and the 'Fit India Movement' for promoting sports and physical fitness.

His tweet following the event read "“I participated in the inauguration ceremony of the 36th All India Advocate Cricket Tournament held in Lucknow today. In the last 10 years, under the guidance of our honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi, there has been an expansion of sports activities in the country. 'Khelo India', 'Fit India Movement', and 'Sansad Sports Competition' are proof of this. Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the teams participating from across the country in this competition,”.

Additionally, he reassured his government's commitment to advocate
