"We all took turns to clean the RSS office, prepare tea, food for colleagues, and clean utensils," said PM Modi giving a slice from his life during his RSS days

The portal that is known to narrate stories of life, Humans of Bombay, in its third slice from their interaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared some more intricate details from his life, leading up to his initial days in RSS. 

PM Modi shared the story after his return from the tranquility of Himalayas into the hustle of urban life and catching up to the accelerated pace of lifestyle that he handled by helping his uncle in the canteen.

He said, "After coming back from the Himalayas, I knew that I wanted my life to be one that is lived in the service of others. Within a short span of returning, I left for Ahmedabad. It was my first brush with living in a big city – the pace of life was very different. I began my time there by occasionally helping my uncle at his canteen."

The next phase of life revolved around his entry into RSS. PM Modi narrated his experiences as a full-time Pracharak in which he garnered ample experience by interacting with people from 'different walks of life' and took turns to do the chorus at RSS office. 

He said, "Eventually, I became a full-time Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. There, I got the opportunity to interact with people from different walks of life, which entailed a wide range of work. We all took turns to clean the RSS office, prepare tea and food for colleagues and clean utensils."
