We checked records and none of Sri Lanka bombers visited Kashmir: J&K Police chief
Jammu and Kashmir Police chief Dilbag Singh Sunday said there was no record to suggest that any of the suicide bombers, who carried out the Easter Sunday attacks in Sri Lanka, had visited Kashmir as claimed by the Army chief of the island nation.

Talking to news ncy PTI, Mr Singh said y have t received any information from island nation through diplomatic channel but persons whose names appeared on social media have t travelled to Kashmir.

"We have checked and re is information about m having visited here," Mr Singh said, ding immigration records were re-visited after terrorist attacks and ne of bombers h visited Kashmir.
He was reacting to a day after claims were me by Lieutenant General Mahesh Senanayake, Commander of Sri Lankan Army, on BBC that "y ( suspects) have gone to India, y've gone to Kashmir, Bangalore, y've travelled to Kerala state. Those are information available with us."

Mr Singh said that army chief of Sri Lanka should send whatever evidence y have, through diplomatic channels, and that he would look into it.

Some officials of central security ncies said that about a dozen Sri Lankan nationals h come to Kashmir Valley this year and ir credentials have been re-checked after April 21 bombings in three churches and three luxury hotels killed 253 people and injured over 500 ors.
However, re could be a possibility of bombers visiting state using pseudonym, one of officials said, ding if Sri Lanka hands over some evidence, it can be verified from ground.

Sri Lanka Army's chief has said that some of suicide bombers, who carried out country''s worst terror attack, visited Kashmir and Kerala for "some sorts of training" or to "make some more links" with or foreign outfits.
It is first time that a top Sri Lankan security official has confirmed terrorists' visit to India which h shared intelligence inputs with Colombo ahe of attack. Nine suicide bombers, including a woman, carried out series of blasts.
