Jagat Prakash Nda, BJP working President, assailed Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday and said that she has started a 'jungle raj' and let loose a 'reign of terror' in State of West Bengal. Nda participated in 'mass tarpan' held by saffron party during day for its workers who h lost ir lives in political violence in State in past few years. 'Tarpan' is a Hindu ritual in which prayers are offered for de on Mahalaya ahe of Durga Puja. Nda spoke to family members, including children, of de party workers and assured m all help from party.
"re is jungle raj and reign of terror in West Bengal under TMC. state is witnessing goonda raj as re is rule of law here. Family members of slain BJP workers in state are t getting justice. But this jungle raj will end soon as time for TMC government is over."

' vision as Chief Minister'
Furrmore, he claimed that democracy is being strangled in state and ruling party as Trinamool Congress is torturing workers and leers who have a different tion. More than 80 people have lost ir lives in political violence in Bengal in last two years, he said. " police are t lodging cases and have turned into mute spectators. protectors have become predators. Mamata Banerjee is neir giving people justice r allowing any proper judicial remedy," said Nda. This is Nda's first visit to Bengal after taking over as BJP working president.

Nda said party vows to fulfill dreams of slain party workers by making Bengal free from 'goonda raj' and establish rule of law in state. He furr said that more than 3,000 BJP cre were forced to leave ir homes after 2018 panchayat elections in West Bengal and are in hiding and more than 2,500 BJP workers have been physically assaulted. Around 80 people have laid down ir lives and around 1,000 wounded workers are being treated. He also said that Banerjee is fast losing her political ground in West Bengal and has vision as Chief Minister.

ding to his statements, he said that political violence seen in Bengal is t seen elsewhere in any part of country. He dressed it to be a case of 'Vinaasha Kaale Vipareet Buddhi' (when one's doom approaches, n one's mind, one's intelligence works perversely). "India is a land of democratic values and whoever tries to strangulate democracy will have to go. We will continue our fight for establishing democracy in Bengal," he said.
