New Delhi: In a rare sighting, Airbus Beluga, which is also called as the 'Whale Of The Sky' landed at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in the Rangareddy, Telangana on Friday.

The Airbus Beluga is a major utility carrier used for transporting large bulky items that regular cargo planes cannot handle.

The giant cargo plane touched down at Hyderabad airport at around 12:20 pm on August 30 after it departed from Muscat International Airport at 7:27 local time on August 29.

It’s for the third time, Airbus Beluga landed at the Hyderabad airport. Its previous sightings were witnessed in December 2022 and August 2023.

The mammoth plane was first introduced in 1995.
