New Delhi: BJP spokesperson Shehz Poonawalla on Tuesday criticized Congress -led Himachal Presh government, saying that wherever Congress party comes to power, it brings "loot" and "barbai" (destruction).

Speaking to ANI, BJP Spokesperson Shehz Poonawalla said, "This is 'khata-khat' model of Congress. Wherever Congress party came to power, y brought 'loot', 'barbai' along with m...In Himachal Presh, Govt cannot provide salaries of employees, toilet tax has been imposed...y are busy investigating samosas and situation is such that Himachal Bhawan is now on verge of getting sold to pay dues of power companies."

Former Himachal Presh Chief Minister and BJP leer Jairam Thakur also criticised Sukhu-led Congress government for not taking court cases seriously and warned that secretariat could be auctioned off if situation continues.

Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, Thakur said, "Firstly, government is not taking court cases seriously and one after or decisions are being taken in Himachal Presh due to which government is getting embarrassed. It is a period of financial crisis, it has been re for many years but because of this, whole of Himachal Presh is now worried that if Himachal Bhawan is auctioned, n in coming time, situation will be such that secretariat may be auctioned," he said.

BJP's attack came after Himachal Presh High Court on Monday passed an order to attach Himachal Bhavan in Delhi's Mandi House after Congress-led Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu government failed to clear overdue electricity bills.

Himachal Presh vocate General Anup Kumar Rattan however termed Himachal Presh High Court's order to attach Himachal Bhawan in Delhi as a normal routine process and ded that it became news because High Court mentioned possibility of auctioning Bhawan.

Speaking to ANI on Tuesday, HP vocate General Rattan said, "This order of High Court has come in an execution petition in which Seli Hydropower has filed an execution that order given in ir favour by single judge should be returned upfront premium of Rs 64 crore because government has not deposited that money in appellate court. refore, this order has been given by Executing Court in a normal routine process. But this is becoming news because High Court has said about auctioning Himachal Bhawan and that this property can also be attached."

Himachal Presh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said he has not yet re High Court's decision to attach Himachal Bhawan in Delhi but has taken information regarding it and will review order.

Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Sukhu said, "I have not re High Court order but upfront premium is based on a policy under which when energy policy was me in 2006, I was main architect. We h kept a reserve price per megawatt on which companies h bid. re was a decision me by arbitration in matter of upfront premium...Our govt went to High Court against arbitration order and government h to deposit Rs 64 crore in arbitration. I have taken information regarding same and we will study about this of order."
