Woman Cop Jumps to Death from Indore Police Training Institute's Terrace

Indore: A 32-year-old policewoman allegedly died by suicide by jumping from a multi-storey residential building at the Police Training College (PTC) in Indore, Madhya Pradesh , on Friday. The incident took place around 5:30 am on the PTC campus in the Azad Nagar area, an official confirmed.
The woman, a subedar (sub-inspector level officer) posted at the PTC, reportedly jumped from the terrace of a five-storey residential building on the institute's campus, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Ashish Patel stated.
The reason for her actions remains unknown, and a police team has been dispatched to the scene to investigate further, he added.
A PTC official noted that she had recently returned to duty at the institute after completing her maternity leave.
