'World Kindness Day' is celebrated today, November 13, in many countries as a day of giving and showing kindness. According to reports, this day was marked when a collection of humanitarian groups came together on November 13, 1997, and made a ‘Declaration of Kindness’. People in huge numbers across the world celebrate this day by performing a kind gesture towards someone. On this special day, check out these ten random acts of kindness you can do to bring a smile on someone’s face.

1. Call a friend or family member for no reason and ask about their health and their on-going whereabouts.
