Worli Hit-And-Run Case: Did Accused Shiv Sena Leader's Son Change His Car Before Accident?

Mumbai: A CCTV footage of the accused in the Worli Hit-and-Run case has surfaced which shows the son of the Shiv Sena leader leaving from a pub in Mumbai.

The footage from before the accident, shows the accused Mihir Shah driving off with his friends in a Mercedes but strangely, the accident occurred by a different luxury car, BMW.

Did The Accused Change His Car Before Accident?

The CCTV footage clearly shows Rajesh Shah's son Mihir Shah leaving a pub in Mumbai, with his friends in a white Mercedes SUV. 

What's strange is that the accident that happened later, happened by a BMW. The cops believe that the accused, who is currently on the run, had changed his car before the accident.

However, the reason behind the same is not known; Mihir Shah, the main accused is absconding and his sister and mother are also untraceable. His father, the Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah and the driver have been arrested by the Mumbai Police. 

CCTV Footage Showing Shiv Sena Leader's Son Before Accident

A CCTV footage of the Shiv Sena leader's son and the accused, Mihir Shah (dressed in a black t-shirt), in the Worli hit-and-run case surfaced where he could be seen leaving a bar in Mumbai's Juhu area late on Saturday night. 

Mihir Shah left the bar at around 1.45 am and headed towards Marine Drive and the accident happened in Worli early in the morning. The accident left a woman dead and her husband seriously injured.

LoC Issued Against Mihir Shah

Mihir Shah, the main accused in the latest hit-and-run case has been on the run ever since the accident and a lookout notice, formally known as a Lookout Circular (LoC) has been issued against the Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah's son.

"As there was a possibility of Mihir Shah fleeing the country, the Mumbai Police on Sunday evening issued an LOC against him," the official said.

Girlfriend Helps Accused in Hiding After Accident

The cops are suspecting that Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah's son, Mihir Shah who is the prime accused in the case and absconding, was helped by his girlfriend in hiding after the accident. She was also called for questioning by the police.
