Young Man Commits Suicide, Blames Lover's Family For Harassment

Barabanki: In Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki a 25-year-old man, Sudheer Kumar, committed suicide, leaving behind a heartbreaking note and a Facebook post that revealed the troubles he faced in his personal life. The deceased died by suicide accusing his lover’s family of harassment in the note left behind. In his last Facebook post, titled “Hamari Adhoori Kahani" (our incomplete story), Sudheer Kumar alleged that his partner’s family opposed their relationship and accused them of harassing him.

Sudheer in his Facebook post attached the pictures from his court wedding with his lover along with their marriage certificate. Sudheer revealed that he had been in a relationship with her for about four years and married her at court about six months ago.

According to his claims in his suicide note, Sudheer apparently claimed that he had been in a relationship with the woman for four years. Despite her family's opposition, the couple got married in court six months ago. However, things took a turn for the worse when her family came to know about their marriage.

In his note, Sudheer also revealed that the woman had told him she wanted to be with him, but after her family found out about the marriage, they stopped talking. Sudheer accused the woman, identified as Komal and her family of harassment.

Sudheer's family members said that her parents had asked him to agree to a divorce, but he refused, saying he would only do so if the woman, with whom he had married, would ask him to do so. 

The police have registered a complaint against Komal's family and are investigating the case.

Further legal action is being taken into the matter.
