Zeeshan Siddique Remembers Late Father Baba Siddique, Says "Miss You Everyday"

Mumbai: Bandra East MLA from Congress Zeeshan Siddique, on Wednesday, remembered his late far and senior NCP ( Ajit Pawar faction) leer saying he missed him every day.

Zeeshan in a post on X wrote, "5 years ago, on results day, this picture captured a moment me possible by your hard work and faith in me, D. Now, with you gone, I feel weight of people who loved you for your service and dedication to m. I’m waiting for a signal from you, as I always did. Miss you every day."

Zeeshan earlier in day criticised decision of Shiv Sena (UBT) to field a candidate in his constituency for upcoming Maharashtra polls, saying staying toger was never in ir nature.

Even though his far Baba Siddique, who was shot de in Bandra earlier this month, h crossed over from Congress to NCP earlier this year, Zeeshan is yet to make his political move clear.

“Heard old friends have announced ir candidate from Bandra East. Staying toger was never in ir nature. Have a relationship with only those who give you respect,” Zeeshan wrote on X. He ded that people would now decide.

On Wednesday evening, Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena (UBT) released its first list of 65 candidates for assembly elections, picking Varun Sardesai from Bandra (East).

Elections to 288-member Maharashtra assembly will be held on November 20 and votes will be counted on November 23. (with PTI inputs)
