BSE, NSE to be Closed on Nov 20 for Maharashtra Assembly Polls

India's leading stock exchanges BSE and NSE on Friday declared a trading holiday on November 20 in view of Maharashtra assembly polls.

New Delhi: India's leing stock exchanges BSE and NSE on Friday declared a tring holiday on vember 20 in view of Maharashtra assembly polls.

re will be tring on that day in equity, Futures & Options (F&O) and Securities Lending and Borrowing (SLB) segments.

In view of assembly elections in Maharashtra, exchanges will be closed on vember 20, 2024 and re will be tring on that day in equity, equity derivatives and SLB segments, NSE and BSE said in separate circulars.

Elections to 288-member state legislative assembly will be held on vember 20 and votes will be counted on vember 23.

This will be third stock market holiday in vember, after Diwali on vember 1 and upcoming holiday for Guru Nanak Jayanti on vember 15.
