Delhi Metro Update: Yellow Line Timings Changed for October 6, Check Which Stations Are Closed
The Delhi Metro Yellow Line will be temporarily disrupted on October 6, 2024, due to maintenance at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station until 6:40 AM.
Delhi Metro: The Delhi Metro will temporarily regulate services on the Yellow Line (Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram) on the morning of October 6, 2024 (Sunday), due to scheduled maintenance work at Vishwavidyalaya Metro Station. The disruption will last until 6:40 AM, resulting in adjustments to delhi metro schedules and certain station closures.
On Sunday morning, the first Delhi metro will depart later than usual.
Adjusted First Train Departures:
Vishwavidyalaya to Millennium City Centre Gurugram: 6:45 AM (previously 6:00 AM)
Kashmere Gate to Samaypur Badli: 6:52 AM (previously 6:00 AM)
There will be no train services between Vishwavidyalaya and Kashmere Gate during this time, and the Vidhan Sabha and Civil Lines stations will remain closed until 6:40 AM.
Normal operations will continue on the remaining sections of the Yellow Line, with trains running at a frequency of 10 minutes during the maintenance period. After that, services will revert to the standard Sunday timetable for the rest of the day.
To minimise inconvenience, announcements will be made at stations and inside Delhi metro, informing passengers about the changes, including train destinations and platform information, during this brief maintenance window.
