Info: All public and private sector banks in India will be closed today, September 16, 2024, to commemorate Eid-e-Milad.
The Reserve Bank of India ( RBI ) and the Maharashtra government have moved the Eid-e-Milad public holiday to September 18.
This holiday will mark the beginning of a week-long break for banks. In addition to this, banks will also be closed on: Sundays, Second and Fourth Saturdays.
In case of emergencies, all banks operate their online websites and mobile banking services apps regardless of weekend or other leaves — unless notified to users for particular reasons. You can also access any bank's ATMs for cash withdrawals.
