1. KYC Update Requirement:
   • Companies must complete KYC processes for all FASTags issued between 3 to 5 years ago by October 31, 2024.
   • Users with FASTags from this period should promptly update their KYC information to avoid service interruptions.
2. Replacement of Older FASTags:
   • FASTags older than five years must be replaced.
   • Vehicle owners should verify the issuance dates of their FASTags and take action before the deadline to prevent issues.
3. Linking and Verification:
   • From August 1, all FASTags must be linked to the vehicle’s registration number and chassis number.
   • New vehicle owners must update their FASTag with the vehicle’s registration number within 90 days of purchase.
4. Database Accuracy:
   • FASTag providers must ensure their databases are accurate, including verifying and updating all details.
   • Providers are required to upload clear photos of the vehicle's front and side to facilitate identification.
5. Mobile Number Requirement:
   • Each FASTag must be connected to a mobile number for smooth communication and updates.
