Railways To Run 7000 Special trains For Diwali and Chhath Festivals, Check Details

As the Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals approach, Indian Railways has announced that it will operate 7,000 special trains, to accommodate numerous passengers.

New Delhi: As Diwali and Chhath Puja festivals approach, Indian Railways has anunced that it will operate 7,000 special trains, including clone trains, to accommodate numerous passengers.

Dilip kumar (ED, Information & Publicity Railway Board) said that several facilities are being arranged, and Railway Ministry has decided to enhance its services to better man influx of passengers.

7000 Special Trains To Run For Diwali and Chhath Festivals

" number of tourists increases in some important areas, important stations. Travellers come to Bihar and Uttar Presh in large numbers. And railway has me a significant arrangement for m this year. We have arranged more than 7,000 trains this time and se trains are being run from all important stations of country, from Old Delhi, New Delhi, Anand Vihar, Ahmedab, Mumbai, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Vishakhapatnam. Previously, we ran 4,300 special trains, so this time to provide better facilities we increased number of special trains," Kumar was quoted as saying by news ncy ANI. 

Clone Trains To Run For Festivals 

railway official furr said that clone trains will operate along route to ensure equate seating arrangements for passengers.

" railway this time decided to run a clone version of popular trains. So, most popular trains, which have a high demand, we will run a clone train just after 15 minutes of that train,” official ded. 

Earlier rrn Railway anunced that in next two weeks, rrn Railway will operate 65 extra trains per day from Delhi.

“In se 13 days, 1.20 lakhs extra berths shall be me available to passengers,” an official statement said.
