VIRAL: Egyptian Man Sets The Guinness World Record By Visiting Seven Wonders In Less Than A Week

A notable example from recently is Egyptian man who broke world record for quickest tour to Seven Wonders of World. 45-year-old Magdy Eissa set a new record of 6 days, 11 hours, and 52 minutes. To see new Seven Wonders of World, he traveled entirely by public transportation. He surpassed previous best established by Jamie McDonald, an Englishman, previous year.
Magdy stated in an interview with GWR that organizing his route, which broke records, was a "monumental" undertaking that took nearly a year and a half. "I h to navigate a complex web of flights, trains, buses, subways and walking between transportation hubs and Wonders," he continued. 45-year-old furr ded, "A single disruption could derail entire itinerary and result in a flight back home!"

Magdy started his journey at Great Wall Of China. He n traveled to see Taj Mahal in India, ancient Mayan city of Chichen Itza in Mexico, ancient city of Petra in Jordan, Colosseum in Rome, Christ Redeemer in Brazil, and Machu Picchu in Peru. According to GWR, each leg of trip entailed planning best public transportation alternatives, figuring out transit schedules, and taking into consideration layovers, immigration lines, and connections to next location.
Although Magdy's timetable was not significantly disrupted, he did experience a few near misses. He once almost missed his flight from Peru to Mexico and daily bus to Petra. Speaking to GWR, Magdy disclosed that two of his personal pleasures of journey were meeting an old buddy he hn't seen in years and seeing alpacas in Peru. "Being able to reconnect, even briefly, with a familiar face amidst whirlwind of record attempt was a cherished moment," he explained.

45-year-old said he feels a great feeling of personal success after realizing a childhood desire and breaking world record. "This task not only me me feel good about myself, but it also gave me a brief respite from demands and difficulties of everyday life. hectic pace and problem-solving that were necessary for record attempt provided a useful way to let off steam and unwind," he continued.
