renowned social organization Hari Sharranam Jun chief Swami Ram Govind Das distributed Hand cycles to many physically disabled persons, in a program organized at Jugal Kishore Ghat in Vrindavan on occasion of appearance day of Lord Banke Bihari. 

Swami Ram Govind Das is known worldwide for his empathy for underprivileged class said that In today's era, feeling of identity and self-respect has awakened in individual. He should not consider anyone worthy of mercy, kindness and compassion, he should consider m as his friend and ally, he should help m and provide m opportunity to become self-reliant. refore, we must protect ir self-respect, behave kindly, sympathize and cooperate with m and take all possible measures for ir rehabilitation. This work can be done by individuals, social organizations and ministration. 

Ram Govind Das furr explained that first duty is to prevent disability. Today, medical science has developed vaccines to ericate crippling diseases. re is a saying in English – ‘Prevention is better than cure’ meaning safety lies in prevention. If polio, smallpox, measles, hepatitis etc. diseases are treated early in childhood, n se diseases can be avoided.

Now comes problem of those who are disabled. By giving training to disabled, y can be me self-reliant and frustration-free. By training blind, y can be employed in weaving chairs, operating machines, typing etc. Deaf and dumb people can be taught painting and sculpture. Similarly, or disabled people can also be employed in some work or handicraft work considering ir physical capacity. refore, handicapped training centers and handicapped rehabilitation centers should be opened for handicapped. Secondly, re should be reservation for disabled in semi-government jobs. I have seen talented blind students working as successful teachers. refore, disability should not be considered as an obstacle, a disease which is incurable and for which re is no cure. It is not an incurable disease.
