Mehul Choksi’s alleged kidnapping plot revealed by viral video

Mehul Choksi- an Indian fugitive businessman, has once again made headlines following a video gone viral on social media, revealing his alleged planning and plotting to escape extradition to India from Antigua and Barbuda.
In May 2021, the mysterious disappearance of Choksi from Antigua and Barbuda and his arrest in Dominica derived several narratives on social media, raising questions about what really happened. Now, the video has comprehensively disclosed the entire plotting of the fugitive businessman and erased all the confusion about his sudden disappearance.
The engaging animated video, spanning over 20 minutes, delved into the details of how he went missing from Antigua and Barbuda from the beginning and end of the entire plotting and explained his infamous “Gone Missing Agenda.”

While starting with the unfolding of his scam in India, the video shared the information of how Mehul Choksi, along with his nephew Nirav Modi, defrauded the PNB with a worth of USD2 billion and fled the country to escape the legal proceedings against the scam.
This has led to the commencement of his narrative of kidnapping as he got the information that Indian officials are preparing for his extradition to India from Antigua and Barbuda- a country where he got the citizenship in 2017.

Kidnapping Plot of Mehul Choksi
Mehul Choksi wanted to escape the tune of law in India and started thinking of ways to ger rid of it. The video clearly showcased that he made the entire planning by contacting two Jamaican transporters, Paul Stephane Emmanuel and Leonard Anthony Cole who were asked to transport him to Cuba- a country that has no extradition treaty with India.

According to the video, he planned to fake his kidnapping so that another investigation could be started, shifting his extradition to India. He asked the transporters to hire a boat for his ride to Cuba and moving ahead in his plotting, Choksi also lured an innocent Hungarian tourist who could help him in his tactics.
He started gifting her a diamond necklace and portrayed himself as Raj so that he could get all the information. In return, he also asked the tourist to rent a villa with a jetty attached and promised to take her on a ferry ride in Jolly Harbour.
The video disclosed that the Choksi decided to leave on May 24, 2021 for Cuba, but tourist informed him about her of postponing her visit for May 23, 2021. Due to this, he immediately called transporters and asked them to shift their plans of leaving to one day early. Choksi also used the house rented by the tourist when she left Antigua and hid in the villa.

In the video, it was outlined that Choksi fell from the stairs and got injured with bruise near his eyes and a cut on his finger. When he left for Cuba, he suspiciously received a call on his satellite phone due to which Choksi asked the transporters to change their path to Dominica as there were reports of potential threats in Cuba.
When he reached Dominica, the video outlined that he was arrested by Dominican police officials who also identified as an Indian fugitive. This is how the entire plotting of fake kidnapping started and ended.
In order to exaggerate their case, the video showed that Mehul Choksi along with his brother Chetan Chinubhai Choksi started using their means and money to manipulate the things. They also bringed police officials in Antigua and Barbuda and asked them to exaggerate his kidnapping plot by manipulating the evidence.
He also bribed prominent officials including Antiguan inspector- Adnois Henry and the opposition leader in Dominica- Lennox Linton by offering him an election funding. The video also stressed that he got kidnapped from Jolly Harbour, then the CCTV could have captured something. The area is protected by hundreds of CCTV cameras and the fencing from where kidnapping is impossible.
The specialized team of lawyers were also hired by Mehul Choksi who were asked to surface the kidnapping narrative.
