Banksy is a 46-year-old British anonymous street artist, political activist, and film director. He has been active since the 1990s and has filled a number of streets with his satirical Banksy art made with stencilling technique. He has been in the company of famous personalities like Barack Obama, Lady Gaga and Steve Jobs. Banksy himself has been named among the world's 100 most influential people. His popularity as an anonymous street artist is so strong that his fans have protested the attempts by news agencies to unmask Banksy.

Banksy art started during the '90s in Bristol, England. However, Bansky art has come a long way since from street arts in cities like San Francisco, Vienna, Barcelona, Detroit and Paris to canvas paintings.
