Munshi Premchand

Munshi Premchand (1880-1936) is a prominent Hindi writer and a dramatist. Premchand also wrote vels in Urdu langu. He is amongst most famous regional writers from 20th century. As a Hindi writer, Premchand has written approximately a dozen vels, 250 short stories, and numerous essays and translations.
