As per sources, the translators of the series disclosed that they found it extremely challenging to blend all the songs and jokes of the comic, keeping in mind the intricacies of the French culture. They further added saying they also had to be mindful while translating as every language has its own aural space with one size not fitting in every bit.
Launched in 1959, Asterix and Obelix along with a group of Gallic villagers use their brain and brawn into resisting the Roman occupants from taking over their village in the series.
