'A Stranger in the Mirror' is written by Sydney Sheldon and it describes the 20th-century era in Hollywood. It is one of the earliest works of the famous writer and contains the fast-paced narration which will not let you lose the track. Gone Girl

'Gone Girl' is written by Gillian Flynn. Positive word of mouth worked wonders for the book as it went on to make it to the list of New York Bestsellers. The story is about the sudden disappearance of a housewife on her wedding anniversary. The book was later made into a movie by David Fincher which starred Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike.

Fight Club

The 1996 novel is written by Chuck Palahniuk. The story of 'Fight Club' follows the life of a person who suffers from insomnia. The edgy narration keeps leaves you wanting for more. In the year 1999, David Fincher adapted the novel into a movie. Brad Pitt and Edward Norton were playing the lead characters and it went to become a cult movie of all times.

The Girl on the Train

'The Girl on the Train', a 2015 suspense thriller by Paula Hawkins would keep you on the edge of your seat until the last page of the novel. The story has three totally different and messy characters and the narration goes on with each of their point of view. The book won several awards and was later made into a movie. 

The Silence of the Lambs

The 1988 novel is written by Thomas Harris. It showcases the life of a serial killer Dr Hannibal Lecter. The character was written with complete perfection and it keeps you engaged till the very end. The novel was a great success in the United States, just like its namesake film adaption which went on to receive widespread critical acclaim and several accolades for the cast and crew.
