Here are a few places in Mumbai where you can try and find the rare book that you may be looking for.

City Book Center

City Book Center is located at Andheri since 2004, after owner Pramod Bodale, like many of his counterparts, found himself evicted from his streetside stall in Fort by the city’s municipal corporation. Equipped with everything from study guides and textbooks to secondhand novels at incredibly low prices, City Book Center has something for everyone. Moreover, the store also functions as a library, allowing patrons to receive a refund of 30 per cent of the book’s original cost if they return it after reading.

Sterling Book House

Sterling in Fort and is over 70 years old but remains one of the city’s best places to find study guides, textbooks, and nonfiction reading material. Covering subjects from South Asian defence studies to religion and philosophy and offering books at incomparably low rates.
