Reham Khan reveals Imran Khan kissed her, proposed marriage to her, then slept with another woman three days later

Imran Khan’s ex-wife and British-Pakistani journalist Reham Khan’s autobiography was making headlines even before its release. Now, the fact that it has been released and lots of people have read it, it’s bound to grab more limelight. In her recently released autobiography, Reham Khan narrated the episode wherein the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan, proposed marriage to her. Far from being a romantic or a conventional proposal, Reham Khan was caught off-guard when the PTI chairman popped the question to her, in a rather blunt manner.

Reham Khan, in her autobiography, recollected the time when Imran Khan invited her to his house on the pretext of discussing something of “high importance”. However, on arrival, Reham Khan would realise that it was not a formal meeting at all. After a walk up and down Imran Khan’s garden and a dinner at his patio, Reham Khan recollected that the prime ministerial candidate in the upcoming Pakistan General Elections tried kissing her before popping the question to her.

“He started to say something and as I looked up expectantly, he instead closed the distance between us and leant down to kiss me. It was a light brush initially...As he proceeds to kiss me more ardently,” revealed Reham Khan in her book.

Further, when Reham suggested that was not a right thing to do, Imran proposed to her in “possibly the least romantic way that anyone had ever tried to propose”.

“I don’t want to sleep with you… I am looking to get married. I don’t want anything else with you. I want to marry you,” Reham Khan allegedly quotes Imran Khan as saying when he had proposed marriage to her.

Reham Khan, who felt dizzy with the proposal went back home without giving any clear response to him. Later, she claimed in the book, at the start of the following week Imran Khan texted her and described him having dinner with a female friend of his, which was followed by “fun and games.”

Reham Khan recollected being shocked at his admission and told him off saying, “In my world, you couldn’t kiss someone on Saturday, propose marriage to her, and then sleep with another woman on the Tuesday.”

Earlier, even before the release of the book, Reham quoted the same incident and had accused Imran of sexually harassing her before their marriage. She had said, the incident took place when they met for the second time and went for a walk. Reham Khan's autobiography was released online on July 12.
