Dry skin is a common condition with many causes which many people face. It is mostly caused by environmental factors that remove moisture from the skin. Heat, hot showers, acidic climate and harsh soaps can all trigger dry skin. For those facing the issue, may already know that finding the right skincare routine is like changing upon treasure. You need a skincare cocktail that provides the right kind of moisture to make your skin appear plump, smooth and flake-free. Here are some basic AM to PM skincare tips you need to follow if you are tired of treating the dry skin.

AM skincare routine

Step 1: Cleanse

Start by cleansing your skin with a gentle cleanser such as a Deep Cleanser Cleansing Milk. This helps your skin to get rid of dirt, oil and sweat without stripping it further of its natural hydration. this routine is said to be quite essential for people with dry skin. The last step in your AM skincare routine is always sunscreen. Whether or not your moisturiser has SPF, sunscreen is a must. It protects your skin from harmful UV rays emitted by Sun. Most of the sunscreens have a light and non-greasy formula that gets easily absorbed into your skin. Remember to reapply it every few hours depending upon its longevity.

PM skincare routine

Your night skincare routine is extremely crucial because most of the skin repair happens when you are asleep. Hence, applying the right skincare products before you sleep is important. First thing after you come home from your daily work is you need to wash your face with the right face wash for your skin. You can also use make-up removal for this process. Apply the cleanser, toner and moisturizer just like you did in the morning. Instead of moisturiser, you can also apply face oil or night cream before you sleep. Note that at night, there is no need to apply the sunscreen.
