In case of fashion, change is constant. However, re is one trend that stood test of time is Indian saree. Saree shows reflection of a woman's elegance. Each region of India has a different way of draping saree. Here are top Indian saree draping styles that you may want to wear for your next occasion.

1. Kerala style saree

Kerala style saree is identified because of its distinct rich gold border highlighting its ivory or off white colour. saree draping style in Kerala are draped like any or saree but once pleats are formed, y are warped around body and tucked at waist. Later pleats are rolled on outside and held by wrapping pleats over innermost layer.

2. Nauvari saree from Maharashtra

nine-yard saree speaks a lot about woman from Maharashtra. This saree draping style is kwn for its unique draping patter. It is worn like a dhoti on legs and like a rmal saree on top. Lavani folk dancers wear Nauvari saree for ir performances.

3. Surguja from Chhattisgarh

Mostly worn by dancers of Oraon community of Chhattisgarh. This 5.3-yard saree is draped to swirl ends around easily, especially by dancers. loose ends are tucked in back as well as front. That showcases freedom that dancers get in order to move around easily.

4. Coorgi style from Karnataka

popular story of Kaveri and Agastya has featured this saree draping style. style has evolved in order to help woman to climb hills of Coorg easily. This saree draping style has pleats at back. Today, Kanjeevaram is worn as per Coorgi style.

5. Kunbi drape from Goa

This saree draping style is followed mostly by tribal people from state of Goa. This is an extremely basic saree draping style. saree is wrapped around waist and a kt is tied over shoulder. This style helps woman working in paddy fields.
