Our human bodies have millions of hair follicles or small sacs lining the skin. The follicles are the reason behind our hair growth and colour or pigmentation of cells that contain melanin. Over time, hair follicles lose pigment cells that results in greying of your original hair colour. The losing process of pigment cells might be due to various reasons. Well, stress is a reason for several health and beauty problems. Stress is also the main cause of premature hair greying. Genetics is also one of the reasons for premature hair greying. Your genetics play a huge role in developing white hairs. An overactive or underactive thyroid can cause your body to produce less melanin, which leads to greying of hair at an early age.
