Zara's 'Gaza destruction-inspired' campaign stirs outrage, people call for boycott of fashion label
The ads campaign for Zara's new jacket line has turned controversial as netizens blame it has uncanny resemblance to images from the Israel-Palestine conflict.

Netizens are calling campaign insensitive and provocative and it has triggered a wave of hate on social media. pictures from campaign are being directly compared to some widely reported photographs from Hamas-Israel conflict.
What is controversial campaign?

It is this picture that social media users accuse bears a striking resemblance to several photographs that show aftermath of conflict in Israel and Palestine. Or pictures in campaign have wrapped bodies, Kristen in a wooden boxes and white plastered mannequins.

Coffins, wrapped bodies, and ghastly white silhouettes in photoshoot are being pointed out as deliberate attempts to resemble aftermath of destruction in Gaza.
Boycott Zara trends on Twitter
Instagram and X users left a barrage of angry comments and tweets, following campaign. Some are calling for a total boycott of Zara brand, while ors are very critical of photoshoot and calling out model as well.

Some have dug up Zara's He designer Vanessa Perilman's 2021 message to Palestinian model Qaher Harhash on Instagram, where she was critical of Palestine. message re, “Maybe if your people were educated, n y wouldn't blow up hospitals and schools that Israel helped to pay for in Gaza. Israelis don't teach children to hate nor throw stones at soldiers as your people do.”

BOYCOTT!” while anor user commented, “How disgusting will you be to support massacre under title of 'art’ ? ”. hashtag “Boycott Zara” has been trending non-stop on X, with people claiming brand is unapologetically insensitive.
