A recently conducted raid at Zomato 's Hyderab warehouse by food safety officials spotted 18 kilograms of button mushroom, which were labelled as packed on October 30, 2024, meanwhile inspection itself was conducted on October 29, as per media reports.
warehouse kwn as an FBO (Food Business Operator) operating with a state license was located in Kukatpally, Hyderab. FBOs are kwn for supplying fruits, vegetables, meat, seafood, gourmet foods, packaging, kitchen essentials, and consumables, to hotels, restaurants, and caterers.

All se findings come after task force in June this year, raided a Blinkit warehouse ( Zomato owns quick commerce platform BlinkIt) at Devar Yamjal in Mkhal Malkajgiri District near Hyderab, finding unhygienic premises, expired items, and food that was possibly infested, among several or issues.
Blinkit said, “We take safety and hygiene standards very seriously. We are closely working with our warehouse partner and Food Safety Department to implement corrective actions from findings,” citing an NDTV report.
