Nithya Menen indulges in Hyderabadi delicacies during shoot of 'Modern Love Hyderabad'

After a successful run of Modern Love Mumbai, Amazon Prime Video is gearing up for its second edition of three localised and fictionalised version of international series, Modern Love Hyderab. Set against backdrop of 'City of Pearls', series features six heartening stories exploring different shes and relationships of love. One of episodes titled My Unlikely Pandemic Dream Partner brings toger two powerhouse actors, Revathy and Nithya Menen, which is directed by Nsh Kukuor. story explores a special bond between le actors. 

Set in heart of Hyderab, as director Nsh Kukuor says episode marries his two loves – old-world charm of Hyderab and local cuisine. During a recent interaction, Nithya Menen revealed a detail that will leave everyone surprised and appreciate her dedication. 

“I h been practising vegetarianism for a while, and when I told team about it, y were amazed,” said Nithya Menen and elaborated that special chef who was invited to cook Hyderabi delicacies also me vegetarian versions of those dishes for shoot. “re was so much Hyderabi food... Finally, at one point, I was like, just give me chicken, I'll just eat it, it's fine, I have to look auntic. So literally, I keep telling m, y turned me a n-vegetarian. re was too much to eat!” 

Interestingly, it was one of those episodes where cast and crew would wait for cut and run to dining tables to gorge on Hyderabi feast, from famous biryani to Khubani-ka-Meetha, you name it and delicacy was served. 

Modern Love Hyderab is set for global premiere on Amazon Prime Video on 8 July. anthology brings six stories revolving around idea and facets of love. cast of Modern Love Hyderab also includes popular names like Suhasini Maniratnam, Naresh, Ahi Pinisetty, Ritu Varma, Abijeet Duddala, Malavika Nair, Naresh Agastya, and Ulka Gupta among ors.
