However, sometimes it’s best to keep those quirky food combinations to yourself, otherwise, food connoisseurs may never let you live down the strange ideas you’ve given them.

One unusual food pairing that sparked an online debate was Gulab Jamun Pizza. Similarly, Swiggy recently found itself in hot water after a post on X - previously known as Twitter, went viral where they shared what they claimed to be the "only right way" to enjoy poha.

Some were so outraged that they called for uninstalling the Swiggy app, with one user bluntly stating, “Time to uninstall Swiggy,”

Another commented, "Don’t mess with poha. If you don’t know how to cook, learn, but don’t spoil the food."

Meanwhile, someone else advised the platform to stick to food delivery and leave the cooking to the experts, “Zyada food expert mat bano. And don’t spoil poha ”

One user wrote, “Bro who puts ketchup on Poha?? Not even in Nagpur”, another commented, “Being from MP, I am offended”.

Poha, which originated in Maharashtra, has spread across Madhya Pradesh and has since become popular across various Indian states.

Made from flattened rice, it’s typically enjoyed as a snack, and many were quick to defend its traditional preparation.
