Understanding the Egg Diet 

"The egg diet is a low-calorie, low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet that focuses on eggs as the primary source of protein," explains Dr. Panda. "There are several variations of the egg diet, but they all typically involve eating two to three eggs per day, along with other lean protein, non-starchy vegetables, and low-carb fruits."

According to Doctor, "The primary foods that people can consume while following the Egg Diet are eggs, lean protein sources like chicken and fish, non-starchy vegetables, low-carb fruits, and healthy fats found in avocados, nuts, and seeds."

Dr. Panda advises avoiding certain foods on the Egg Diet, saying, "Starchy vegetables, grains, sugary foods, and processed foods should be generally avoided due to their high calorie, carbohydrate, and low-nutrient content."
